This month, we're starting a new monthly blog series where we let you know what our top five happenings are in Las Vegas. Summertime in Vegas is here and the fun is just beginning for this hot, exciting season. The summer months always bring lots of concerts and special events within the Las Vegas valley, especially on The Strip.

From one of the most anticipated movies of the year to the boxing rematch of the year, June will be filled with legendary moments. Check out our top five happenings in June 2017 below:

The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel

Common is an American hip hop recording artist, actor, film producer and poet from Chicago, Illinois. Mostly known as one of the greatest MCs to ever do it, Common is a bad man with the mic in his hand. If you're a fan of classic hip-hop and lyrics for days, this show is for you.

All Eyez On Me Movie

June 16

The 46th birthday of legendary rapper/actor/revolutionary Tupac Shakur aka 2pac is next Friday, June 16th. Pac has been dead for 21 years now and we're finally getting the movie we've all been waiting for (hoping for the best). All Eyez On Me has already been a hot topic within the hip-hop culture, getting some heavyweights in the game feeling some type of way. Pac had that kind of effect on people. Get your popcorn ready and support this Benny Boom film!

Electric Daisy Carnival

June 16-18

Las Vegas Motor Speedway

If you've never heard of Electric Daisy Carnival before, don't worry. You're not the only one. It's only the biggest EDM woodstock-like music festival in the world, where millions of people attend each year. It's electric. They're fluorescent colors everywhere. It's one big carnival. This year, EDC stepped it up by having a host hotel (Mandalay Bay) and EDC Week with all of the hottest Las Vegas Nightclubs and Dayclubs. Advice: This event is outside. Drink plenty of water. Don't over do it. Go slow and steady.

Andre Ward Vs. Sergey Kovalev II

June 17

Fighting words have been thrown around like punches as Ward and Kovalev get ready to fight again next Saturday. Ward, the Oakland Ca. native, won the first fight by unanimous decision. Kovalev believes he won the fight and Ward is not worthy of being the champion. Ward is ready to defend his pound-for-pound boxing title and end the discussion. The rematch should be better than the first fight. Think Ward wins a decision. Let's get it on!

Nobody's Safe: Future Concert with Migos, A$AP Ferg and Zoey Dollars

June 30

If you've been living under a rock for the last 2-3 years, Future and Migos are not only the biggest stars from Atlanta, they're universally big-time. From fashion to music to dancing, Future Hendrix and Migos (Quavo, Offset and Takeoff) aren't playing around and nobody's safe. With the help of Metro Boomin', A$AP Ferg and Zoey Dollars, they're only one word to describe this concert: LIT!
